The Savvy Stylist: Transatlantic Flight

Chetana writes:

I am 19 years old and will be flying alone on a transatlantic flight (New York to Mumbai). Thankfully, there's a stop-over in Europe! I would ideally like to dress for comfort, but I don't want to look like a slob either. I'm not concerned with dressing too warm as I will have my Snuggie with me. Any sort of info that might help: I am about 5'2", and apple-shaped. My favorite colors right now are black, gray, and purple. And I love scarves! I would really appreciate tips also on what sort of bag/purse would be best.

This look is comfy as pajamas but very stylish, and costs only $92.18.

Just a comment on the boot. It's a very nice looking boot but it will be a pain in the butt to remove and put back on while going through a crowded TSA security checkpoint.

Go with a comfy shoe you can easily remove and put back on.

Hi Dana, it's Chetana. WOW! I absolutely love this outfit! I really can't wait to rock it today. Regarding what Becky said about the boots, I'm still going to wear them. I have Steve Madden Bonanza boots that are just like those and they are just so warm.. It only takes a few second to slip them on and take them off so I'm glad you threw those into the mix. Thanks so, so much again! Happy holidays to you!!
